RAJOURI, Apr 17: The dead body of a missing person was recovered from a Nallah in Chingus area of Rajouri district today.
A police spokesman said that some local people informed Police Post Chingus that dead body of one persons Jia Ram (60), son of Paras Ram, resident of Aghratti village in Chingus has been spotted at a Nallah near Aghratti. The villager was missing since yesterday.
The police party rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to GMC, Rajouri for postmortem. The police after postmortem and performing other legal formalities, handed over body to the relatives for last rites. The police has started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
