JAMMU, Apr 18: J&K National Panthers Party president, Prof Bhim Singh during video-conference with the senior members of the Party and District presidents urged the President of India to intervene in holding early Assembly elections in J&K.
During video conferencing Bhim Singh referred to the `political blunder’ of the Govt of India by snatching the political rights of the people of Jammu & Kashmir by cancelling the Assembly election in J&K in the name of holding Delimitation of the Assembly constituencies.
Bhim Singh claimed that the elections in J&K cannot be held in six years if people in J&K have to undergo in this process. Delimitation of the constituencies can only be taken up after the census which shall be completed after the year 2021. It means that the result of the census cannot be utilized in 2022. This would mean that the Delimitation Commission shall have to sit silent for 2021 and 2022.
The recommendation of the Delimitation Commission can only be applied in 2023. This is also urgent for every political party operating in J&K to understand that the whole scheme is to demolish the present leadership of all recognized political parties in J&K to give a red signal to the BJP leadership in Delhi which is determined to demolish all secular-democratic political parties in J&K. This is an international mischief which was floated by Owen Dixon who was planted by CIA on J&K. His plan was to divide the J&K on communal lines”.
NPP leader further conveyed to all secular-democratic political parties to hold an indoor conference in this regard so that all secular-democratic-nationalist political parties may work out a joint plan to save Jammu & Kashmir from further disaster.
Bhim Singh urged the President to direct the Government of India to change the reserved Assembly seats in J&K so that the people shall enjoy the fruits of democracy in J&K also.
