JAMMU, Apr 18: Nagrota Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket laid a naka near Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number -JK19-7954.
During checking, police team rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Jameel Ahmed, son of Abdul Razak of Bandan Sangaldan, Tehsil Gool District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 142/2021 under relevant section of law has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
