Baboria urges LG to protect human rights of tribal people

UDHAMPUR, Apr 18: Advocate Sanjeet Baboria, chairman Jan Sangharsh Sanstha, today appealed Lt Governor J&K to protect human rights of tribal people in the Union Territory, who were being ignored for the 40 years.
Talking to media persons, here today, he informed that 25 crores tribal population of the country was living in forests and out of them, 8.6 percent Tribes are settled in J&K & Ladakh UTs.
He alleged that justice was not being done to these tribal people due to the neglect of the concerned department.
