UDHAMPUR, June 6: With the arrest of eight more persons, Police have arrested all the 12 accused in connection with the murder of a youth in Ramnagar last month.
According to police, the arrested persons were allegedly involved in the murder of one Mehar Din son of Mohd Shafi of Dodu Kethair in tehsil Ramnagar, last month.
While four accused were arrested earlier, the remaining eight were held today, police said, adding that no more arrest was required in the case for producing the challan.
Meanwhile, police also arrested two absconding bovine smugglers, who had managed to escape on the intervening night of June 3-4. They have been identified as Latief Shah of Jakhani and Khalid Ahmed of Third Udhampur.
