SRINAGAR, June 6: A residential house and 38 logs of fire wood were damaged in two separate fire incidents in the valley, a police statement said today.
Fire broke out in the premises of PC Depot, Qamarwari in the outskirts of Srinagar in which 38 logs of fire wood were damaged. In a similar incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh son of Ghulam Ahmad of Maisuma, Srinagar, resulting in its partial damage. Fire tenders swung into action brought it under control. Police said it has registered cases.
