BGSBU opens UGC sponsored Day Care Centre for employees’ kids

RAJOURI, June 6: In order to facilitate the staff of the University, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has opened Day Care Centre for the wards of employees which has been equipped with all facilities for children. The infrastructure for the Day Care Centre has been sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
The Centre was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, Prof Irshad Ahmed Hamal in presence of Registrar Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary, Dean of Academics Prof AK Koul, Chair Professor of Mahatma Gandhi Chair Prof GH Dar, Controller Examination Mohammad Ishaq, Special Secretary to Vice Chancellor Suneet Gupta, Executive Engineer BR Chadgal and Mohammad Din.
The Centre will be operated by a post graduate lady Farhat Abdullah and will be overall supervised by Dr Radha Gupta, Assistant Professor of the University.
In the inaugural function of the Centre all the children admitted in the Centre along with the parents were also present.
The Centre is having all facilities with air-conditioned hall, refrigerators, washing machine, toys, cycles and various other things to keep the children busy throughout the day so that these children do not become any hurdle in the work of the lady staff of the University.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof IA Hamal said that the University took this step to improve the work culture in the University.
Earlier, Registrar MR Chowdhary also spoke on the occasion.
