KATHUA, Apr 22: The dead body of a man aged about 35-40 years is lying unidentified in mortuary room of Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua.
“The dead body was found on April 20 from Railway track at 14.5 Km near Ravi Bridge. The man was probably run over by a train (DMU). The deceased is weatish in complexion and is wearing sky blue T-shirt with black lining,” a police official said, adding, inquest proceeding in the case was initiated by police station GRP Kathua.
He said since April 20, the dead body is lying in mortuary room of GMC Kathua for identification but it is still to be identified. “Anybody having any clue about the identity/residential particulars of the deceased may contact GRP Jammu on Telephone numbers 0191-2474946 (PCR GRP Jammu), Mobile number 9419376447 or GRP Jammu Helpline number 1512,” the official added.
