JAMMU, Apr 24: Kanachack Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal laid a naka at Kangrail and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CR-7445.
During checking, police team recovered 70 grams cannabis from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Narinder Singh alias Kaka, son of Bharat Singh, a resident of Mishriwala District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 57/2021 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the guidance of SHO Kanachack Inspector Vishwa Partap Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
