Omar-led Govt’s credibility has reached to its lowest ebb: Madni

MAHORE, (REASI), June 7: Lambasting Omar Abdullah led Coalition Government for prevailing chaos and uncertainty in State, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and senior leader of PDP Mohammad Sartaj Madni today said that credibility of coalition regime has reached to its lowest ebb due to mis-governance and mal-administration.
Addressing one-day convention of party workers at Mahore today, he alleged that since its formation, the coalition has been befooling the people through its deceptive tactics. He observed that nearly four and half year performance of this regime was big zero and all promises of this Government remained only on papers. “Legalizing corruption and bartering aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are only noticeable achievements of this regime”, he said and added this Government has been exposed before the masses and there was no taker of the hollow slogans of this dispensation. He regretted that instead of addressing basic problems of the people, the Government has   indulged into cheap gimmicks to hoodwink the people.
Pointing towards rampant corruption in the State, he said that instead of taking some effective steps, this regime legalized the corruption through its actions.
While listing the promises made by the ruling National Conference with the people during the last Assembly elections, he said that NC led Government has reneged on almost all the promises and commitments.
PDP leader lambasted the State Government for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses.
Mr Madni also reminded the people about various developmental projects which were started during the regime of Mufti Mohamamd Sayeed especially in Mahore belt.
Sarwar Mir, Mohamamd Isreal and others also spoke on the occasion.
