JTC, SKF for providing facilities at Jagti Hospital

JAMMU, Apr 27: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) ,Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held under the leadership of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita today.
Addressing the members Pandita said that the 40-beded hospital, which was built-in Jagti township for migrants was previously in the custody of the Relief Department and it was later snatched from the Department. Since then, the hospital lacks medicines and other facilities, which is a matter of concern. The migrants of Jagti township are facing difficulties in getting medicare facilities from the Jagti hospital, he added.
Pandita said there was no supply of Oxygen cylinders in the hospital. The Government should keep at least 100 oxygen cylinders in the hospital to save the COVID-19 patients. Pandita said that there was also a first aid medical centre in Jagti township which has been taken over by some private Organizations to run it on commercial basis. He appealed the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, to restore this first aid centre to the township.
