Power shut down

JAMMU, June 8: In order to carry out the branch cutting and general maintenance of 33 KV G-5 Gladni-Dhounthly Line, the power supply to Panjtirthi, Karan Nagar, Ambphalla, Jullaka Mohalla, Wazarat Road, Part of Gujjar Nagar, Poonch House, Kachi Chowni, Pacci Dacki, Tange wali Gali, Peer Mitha, Lower Mastgarh, Mohalla Dalpatian and adjoining areas will remain affected from 6 A.M to 11 A.M on 10.6.2013 (Monday).
However, during shut-down period the essential feeders i.e 11 KV D-6 (PHE) and D-7 (Raj Bhawan) will be fed from 33 KV Janipur-Sheetli-Dhounthly tie line.
Meanwhile, in order to shift the load of 1 x 6.3 MVA, 33/11 KV Receiving Station, Greater Kailash from Grid Station, Gangyal to Grid Station, Bari-Brahmana-I and to carry out branch cutting of 33 KV lines, the power supply to Trikuta Nagar, Greater Kailash, Gangyal and Industrial areas of Babliana, Seora, Birpur Complex, Kanhal, Kaluchak and adjoining areas will remain affected from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on June 9, 2013.
In order to redistribute load between 33KV Salehar CKT-1 & 33KV Bishnah line emanating from Grid Station, Lalyana and 33 KV Salehar line emanating from Grid Station Miran Sahib, power supply to Salehar, Biaspur, Sai Kalan, Suhagpur, Chak Shera and adjoining areas will remain affected from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. on June 10, 2013.
According to Superintending Engineer Electric Maintenance & R.E. Circle-1, Jammu, the shutdown is subject to fair weather conditions.
