Designate Rajiv Gandhi Hospital as General Hospital: Satish

JAMMU, Apr 29: Former Municipal Corporation chairman and senior Congress leader Satish Sharma today appealed the Jammu and Kashmir Administration to immediately convert Gangyal’s Rajiv Gandhi Hospital of Gangyal as General Hospital and made open for public without losing any time.
Addressing media-persons here today, Sharma said that South Jammu’s main Gandhi Nagar Hospital has been designated as COVID hospital while people suffering with other common diseases, are facing massive inconvenience.
Satish Sharma said UPA -2 Government had built this 100- beded hospital at a cost of Rs 70 crores but unfortunately BJP Government put this important hospital as a community dispensary.
He said that if this hospital is made a general hospital, then it will benefit Gangyal, Pramukhwani, Greater Kailash, Sainik Colony, Bandhurkh, Babliana, Industrial Area, Digiana, Dashmesh Nagar, Dadap, Roi Mor, Langar, Apna Vihar, Ekta Vihar, Shanti Nagar areas of Jammu south.
Satish request Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately issue an order and convert this health facility as General Hospital.
