UDHAMPUR, May 2: Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia said that the Jammu and Kashmir administration along with the Central Government has failed to deal with the Corona pandemic.

Addressing a press conference, Mankotia said that the District Udhampur Hospital has only 28 oxygen bed, while the District Udhampur has a population of more than six lakhs and hundreds of people are getting infected every day in the district.
Mankotia said that ventilators available in Udhampur are non functional. He commended the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Police Administration as well as the officers for doing good work during the pandemic.
Mankotia appealed to the people to stay in their homes during this corona pandemic and take care of themselves and their families as the Central Government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration failed to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
