SMVDU student conferred National Architectural Award

JAMMU, May 4: Yagvinder Mamoria, a student of B Arch (Batch-2015) of School of Architecture and Landscape Design, SMVD University, has been conferred with National Architecture Award by the prestigious Council of Architecture (CoA), Government of India.
The Award has been given in the Architectural UG Thesis 2020 under the student category for the brilliant Thesis titled “National War & Military Museum”.
Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, Padamshree Prof S K Sinha, while congratulating the feat of the student and School of Architecture, said that the School of Architecture headed by Aditya Kumar Singh, Landscape Architect, has attained various prestigious milestones being the first School of Architecture in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently, SMVDU university has been ranked 80th in the world in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of The Times Higher Education Impact ranking 2021. It has also been ranked 3rd position in India and is the only university from UT of Jammu and Kashmir to be ranked in the said parameters.
