Pulses show mixed trend

NEW DELHI, June 10:  The wholesale pulses market displayed a mixed trend today as select pulses moved up on some local demand while a few others remained weak on adequate supplies.
Traders said some local demand mainly helped some pulses to trade higher, while a few others remained weak on sufficient supplies.
In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 80 each to Rs 5,100-5,500 and Rs 5,600-6,000 per quintal, respectively.
Dal moong dhoya local and best quality traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,750-5,850 and Rs 6,400-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold also went up by Rs 20 each to Rs 4,200-4,400 and Rs 4,350-4,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality edged up by similar margin to Rs 4900-5000 and Rs 4,970-5,070 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,150-3,900, Rs 3,800-3,900 and Rs 3,920-4,020 per quintal, respectively.

Urad 3,700-3,925, Urad Chilka (local) 4,575-4,925, best 5,025-5,525, Dhoya 5,500-5,700, Moong 5,100-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,600-6,000, Moong Dhoya local 5,750-5,850 and best quality 6,400-6,500.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 4,970-5,070, Malka local 4,600-4,700, best 4,800-4,900, Moth 3,500-4,100, Arhar 4,220-4,620, Dal Arhar Dara 5,920-6,120.
Gram 3,150-3,900, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-3,900, best quality 3,920-4,020, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,570, Rajdhani 1,570, Rajmah Chitra 8,250-9,450, Kabli Gram small 3,600-5,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,600-5,000, Peas white 2,650-2,675 and green 2,725-2,825. (PTI)
