KATHUA, May 6: A house of poor person was brunt to ashes in devastating fire that broke out at village Korepunnu today.
The house belonged to a poor labourer Amaranth, resident of Korepunnu. The cause of fire was not known. The household articles and valuable items in house were also destroyed in the fire . The local people ran away towards the spot to dose the fire. But it was too late to control the fire . The local people demanded immediate relief to affected poor person who has not any other place to take shelter. They also demanded that he be given free ration for six months.
