Sanskritians excel in International MUN Conference

JAMMU, May 7: Sanskritians excelled in International MUN Conference 55.0 by winning titles of different committees, sponsored and supported by the United Nation specialised organisations including UNDP, UNESCO and IOM with the help of Australian Embassy in Vietnam and Thailand.
About various delegates from Africa, Europe and Asia including six students and one teacher of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu participated in this event. Each committee comprised of more than 80 delegations from all over the world wherein most of them belonging to colleges & universities.
The Sanskritians were part of the delegates of UN Women, UNICEF, UNFPA and UNDP in which Amber Bhatt (Portfolio: Nauru) got special mention in committee of UN Women, whereas Harsha Mattu (Portfolio: Slovenia) (PGT Geography) was rewarded with honourable mention in UNDP category.
The students were trained and guided by Harsha Mattu, PGT Geography, MUN and Youth Conclave Conference In-charge of the School.
On this incredible success, Rohini Aima, Principal of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu asked the students to focus more on different scopes of improvisation, adopt delegatory attitude in real life and working on real UN values and sustainable goals.
