JAMMU, May 7: National Awami United Party (NAUP) president, Sandeep Singh has claimed that J&K government has snatched livelihood of poor tractor and trolley labourers.
He also claimed that J&K administration is taking vehicles in their custody to show that it is rooting out illegal mining mafia.
Singh asked if the government has framed any policy for the poor labourers affected by such activities of the administration.
He further said that those who got their tractors on loan will now be unable to repay the installments to the bank.
“Seizure of these vehicles is no solution to the problems being faced by mining industry rather government must come out with holistic policy where no room is left for any illegality,” NAUP leader maintained appealing the J&K LG to immediately intervene into the matter and provide relief to the poor labourers and operators of tractors and trolleys.
