JAMMU, June 10: JK Electronic Ears Prime Speech and Hearing Clinic of Jammu in collaboration with Bernafone Delhi organised a two- day medical camp in Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The main focus of the camp was on old patients and children who are suffering from speech and hearing problem.
Renowned Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist, Navneet Gupta, Hearing Aid specialist, Puneet Gupta along with clinical specialist from Bernafone Delhi, tested and counselled these patients.
Out of these patients, they diagnosed two children with Auditory Dysnchrony and three children were identified for cochlear implant as test revealed that conventional and digital hearing aid is not going to provide any significant help in terms of their speech and language development because of severity of problem and hearing loss.
