Dr Tak interim DAK President till next elections

Srinagar, May 9: After Dr Suhail Naik resigned as President Doctors Association of Kashmir (DAK), the Association’s Core Central Body today unanimously selected Dr M.Y. Tak as Interim President till the next elections are held.
General Secretary DAK, Dr Owais H Dar while accepting the resignation said that Dr Naik is a multi-talented versatile personality with tremendous capabilities to run the institution.
It is to be noted here that Dr Naik resigned after he was appointed as lecturer paediatrics GMC Srinagar and as per the bylaws framed for the constitution of DAK, faculty member of the medical colleges cannot hold the post of office bearer of DAK.
Dr Naik said that it is was not an easy job to represent the sacrosanct institution of doctors body but representing doctors is one of the graceful happenings in his life.
All the core members of the Doctor’s Association Kashmir appreciated the moral resignation of Dr Suhail Naik who has worked hard in the last 3 years with honesty, dedication and without any prejudice or bias.
DAK has, however, requested Dr Naik to work as an advisor to the Association till the next elections.
