REASI, May 9: Police today arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued the cattle from their possession.
During intervening night of May 7/8, a police team from Police Station Pouni intercepted and arrested two notorious bovines smugglers-Muneer Hussain son of Mohd Yousaf of Jhandi, Thakrakote in Reasi and Mohd Shakeel son of Mir Hussain of Danuwa and rescued two bovines which they were shifting illegally.
In this regard a case under section 188 IPC & 11(1) PCA has been registered at Police Station Pouni and investigations started.
