JAMMU, May 9: RS Pura Police booked army jawan for raping minor on marriage pretext.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a minor girl with Police Station RS Pura stating that a man identified as Neeraj Choudhary (army jawan), son of Balbir Singh of Gharana Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu made physical relations with her on the pretext of marrying her, but later refused.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 89/2021 under Sections 376 IPC and 3/4 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
