RAJOURI/ REASI, May 10: Two persons were killed while two others injured in two separate road accidents in Rajouri and Reasi area today.
Official sources said that a youth was killed on the spot while another seriously injured when their bike ( JK-11/7909) was hit by a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11E/7133 at Muradpur, on Jammu-Rajouri highway this evening.
The deceased was identified as Deepak Kumar, son of Kulwant Singh of Argi, Dalori village. He was presently residing at Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri. The injured Rockey Sharma hailing from Rajouri was shifted to GMC Hospital, Rajouri. The police shifted the body to GMC hospital’s mortuary and registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, reports from Reasi said that a youth was killed and another injured when a Tractor trolley No. JK20B/1236, rolled down into a gorge near Simbal Choa on Dera Baba Road today. The deceased was identified as Basit Ali (19), son of Mohd Yousuf, resident of Babber village.
The injured identified as Sahil Sharma (18), son of Romesh Chander, resident of Babber, was shifted to District Hospital, Reasi. Later, he was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance.
