Az-Zahra Orphanage celebrates ‘Girls Day’

Kargil, June 11: Az-Zahra Orphanage in collaboration with Hazrat Fatima Women Wing, ISK Ladakh celebrated “Girls Day” to mark the birth anniversary (EID) of Hazrat Zainab.
On the occasion, Hajiya Fizza Mussavi was the chief guest, while Api Archoo Fatima Nissa Khaloopa was the guest of honour.
Maryam Banoo, student Az-Zahra Orphanage, presented the welcome address, while Advocate Shah Nawaz Ali, general secretary highlighted the aims and objectives of the organization.
A Speech Competition on the theme “Hazrat Zainab as a role model for Muslim Girls” in which first position was bagged by Saira Banoo, whereas, the second position was claimed by Zohra Khatoon. Maryam Bee and Zainab Bano shared third position.
In his presidential speech, Aga Syed Jamal-ud-Din, Vice-President, ISK highlighted the role and duties of Muslims in the light of Holy-Quran towards the orphans children.
