JAMMU, May 12: Former MLA Ramban and Senior Congress leader, Ashok Kumar has urged upon J&K Lieutenant Governor to enhance the number of RT-PCR tests across J&K.
In a handout, Kumar said now the time has come where the government needs to test every negative RAT person with RT-PCR test in order to contain the virus from spreading in the community.
He urged upon the J&K Lieutenant Governor to open large scale RT-PCR testing drives in all the districts of J&K just free of cost for all the residents and engage mobile van for the purpose to reduce the spread the pandemic.
The Congress leader further said that it has become essential to take proactive and effective measures to contain further spread of the pandemic.
