UDHAMPUR, May 14: Locals of village Badhota, Sadhota, and Galiote Basnote in Panchari area today protested against Power Development Department (PDD) for its failure to restore power supply for the last six days.
The protesting villagers raised slogans against PDD and the concerned officials.
They said that there was no power supply to Badhota, Sadhota, and Galiote villages in Panchari Tehsil for the last six day due to negligence of the PDD employees, who have failed to repair the fault at the power station.
They lamented that despite repeated requests by the locals, no action has been taken by the concerned authorities to restore power supply.
“During the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown when the students are being provided online education, power supply is badly affecting their studies,” they added.
