Sarwal Hospital remains surrounded by garbage: JWAM

JAMMU, May 16: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has claimed that Government Hospital Sarwal has become a referral hospital and remains surrounded by heaps of garbage.
JWAM president, Sunil Dimple demanded opening of blood bank, installation of CT scan machine, neuro, nephrology doctors at Sarwal Hospital.
He said that the visiting high level central team of health experts should open a separate COVID hospital for children below 17 years of age in Jammu as the third COVID wave may target the children from 2 to 17 years.
He also demanded vaccination for the children and claimed shortage of vaccines in all the districts of J&K. The JWAM leader claimed that slow pace and shortage of vaccinations is responsible for the increase in number of Corona deaths in J&K, particularly in Jammu region hospitals.
He said that vaccination centers should work round the clock daily to control the death rate.
Dimple said that there are ten thousand BAMS doctors, forty thousand trained medical assistants, pharmacists, all over J&K who are unemployed and the government should use their services.
