RAJOURI, June 12: An army jawan lost his left leg in land mine explosion in forward area of Nowshera sector this afternoon.
Reports said jawan Gurjeet Singh of 2 JAKLI, was on patrol duty when the mishap took place. When he was moving along the fencing, he over stepped a land mine, causing massive explosion. His left foot and leg were blown up in the blast. With serious injuries, the jawan was shifted to Command hospital Udhampur in a chopper.
