JAMMU, June 12: Residents of Mohalla Krishna Nagar have urged Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to redress their problems.
In a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Piara Lal Lakhotra, the residents of Krishna Nagar invited an immediate attention of JMC authorities towards the Krishna Nagar Park which is presenting a dismal picture.
The residents said that the flood lights installed in and arround the park have not been functioning for the last one month and evening walkers have to face much inconvenience on this account.
Moreover, the nullah which is flowing in between the mohalla is leaving foul smell and most of the lanes are in dillapidated condition, the residents alleged, adding that four applications in this regards have been submitted to Minicipal Commissioner but he has not paid attention towards the matter.
The residents appealed the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and issue directions to the JMC to redress their grievances.
