Army organizes Hindi play “Hadesa”

DODA, June 12: Army organised Hindi play “Hadesa” at Bhaderwah and Gandoh.
Directed by Akram Khan and written by Vijay Malla, the play was staged by Sangam Theatre Group and was organsed by 4 and 26 Rashtriya Rifles (RR).
The play, which was firstly staged at Seri Bazaar, Bhaderwah was witnessed by Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Sharief Niaz, who was the chief guest, while Colonel Youdhvir Singh, Commanding officer, 4 RR preside over, Major Rajat, Second incharge 4 RR and local populace were also present.
The second performance was staged at Gandoh, wherein Colonel Shanker J Tiwari was the chief guest and Tehsildar Gandoh Din Mohammad Affari was guest of honour. Major Bodha Jyoti Kar presided over the function, while Bishan Singh Pangotra, XEn, Kashori Kumar, ZEO, Assistant Commandant Prem Dass, 42 BSSB and Dr Vinod Kumar, were also present BMO.
During the play, the artist adequately covered the safety measures, which should be taken to avoid incident and also educated the people how to safeguard themselves during earthquake. The message “Safety on the Roads is Safety at our Homes” was effectively conveyed through the play.
The artist, who gave sizzling performance were Barkha Thakur, Mushtaq Ali, Shallu Kumari, Alka Thakur, Anam Khan, Riya Kumari, Amit Pandita, Kunal Salotra, Pankaj Verma, Anroop Pathaniand Rohit Verma.
MLA while speaking said that such initiatives by the Army will go a long way towards spreading the message of road safety amongst the locals.
He said that the theatre have always played an important role in the society in entertaining as well as educating people about various aspects of life.
