JK Bank conducts awareness camp at SP College

SRINAGAR, June 12: Pursuing its initiative to educate masses about the financial products and services offered, J&K Bank today conducted an awareness programme here at SP College.  Besides students the programme was also attended by the Principal of the College, Dr Yaseen Ahmad Shah, Incharge Marketing, Altaf Mehboob Gani and Assistant Vice President, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.
During the programme, the participants were provided with detailed information regarding the services and products offered by the bank. The students were also counseled regarding the various self-employment generation schemes provided by the State Government and the role played by J&K Bank in delivering the same to the aspiring youth. The participants interacted with the bank officials and inquired about various schemes of the bank.
Meanwhile, a 21-day training  programme on “Cutting  and Tailoring (Dress Designing For Women)”, organized by the Bank at RSETI Srinagar concluded here today. A total of 23 candidates, mostly from Tailbal, Habak Moti Mohalla and Fisherman Colony attended the training.
A warm send-off was given to the trainees during a valedictory function at the RSETI Institute in presence of vice- president, Zonal Head Kashmir VM Nazki.
Director RSETI, Ms Shahzadi assured the trainees of all support and handholding for two years till they establish their own enterprise.
