Clerical staff to observe pen down strike on June 18, 19

JAMMU, June 12: All Departments Clerical Staff Association has decided to observe two days pen down strike on June 18 and 19 in support of their demands.
This was decided in a meeting of the Association, which was held under the chairmanship of its president Ravi Singh Bhau.
While speaking, Ravi Singh Bhau condemned the anti-employees and workers policies of the Government, which have failed to concede the just demands of the clerical cadre, compelling them to come on road once again.
He appealed to the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter personally so that formal orders for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and other cadres.
He urged the clerical cadre to gear up the campaign and observe complete strike and also be prepared for the next course of struggle if Government fails to redress the demands of the clerical cadre by or before June 17.
Among others present were Sukhbir Singh, general secretary, Ravi Kumar, Yash Pal Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Hamid Hussain, Brijesh Mehta, Rajinder Singh, Subash Chander, JR Sagar, etc.
Meanwhile, Employees Joint Action Committee (M) held a meeting and extended support to the two days pen down strike call given by All Departments Clerical Staff Association.
