NDPI expresses concern over surge in COVID deaths

JAMMU, May 18: J&K unit of National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) president, Rajesh Gupta has expressed serious concern over the rising number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in J&K particularly in Jammu.
He appealed to the government to make serious efforts to deal with the infection.
In a handout, Gupta said, the graph of COVID-19 cases and deaths is showing a sharp rise during the last few days in Jammu and the matter needs to be addressed at the earliest.
“Though the Union Territory administration is working 24X7 in an unprecedented battle against Coronavirus, yet the latest developments undoubtedly show that much more needs to be done,” he maintained.
The NDPI leader appealed all to follow the SOPs issued by the Government from time to time to avoid Corona infection.
