JAMMU, June 13: General Railway Police (GRP) in collaboration with Child Line Jammu organized “Child Line Programme” at GRP Lines, Railway Station, here today.
In the programme, children, labourers, representatives of Taxi Stand, bus Stand and Shiv Market participated.
During the programme, Danish Gupta Director, Child Line Jammu along with Majuri Singh, centre co-ordinator and Rohit Khajuria, nodal co-ordinator interacted with the participants and apprised them about the working of the organization.
They stressed upon the gathering to educate the children rather introducing them into labour works.
If child labour cases are taking place anywhere, immediately inform Child Line Jammu or nearest police station so that immediate action could be taken, they informed.
Among others present were PK Mengi, DySP GRP Lines Jammu, Atul Sharma, SDPO Railways, Vijaypur, ASC RPF and representatives of CRPF/BSF Railways Station Jammu.
The programme was organised under the supervision of Shiv Kumar, SP Railways, Jammu.
