JAMMU, May 21: Miran Sahib Police arrested two persons and recovered 22 litres of illicit liquor from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Sultan Mirza laid a naka near Kotli Mian Fateh and apprehended two persons along with 22 litres of illicit liquor.
The arrested persons were identified as Satpal Singh, son of Jaswant Singh of Chatha Farm and Bua Ditta, son of Swarn Lal of Chatha Pind.
A case under FIR Number 54/2021 under Section 48-E Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
