JAMMU, May 23: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Priya Sethi distributed 500 food packets to the patients and their attendants here at GMC Jammu under ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan Hai’ programme of the party organized by senior party leader Prem Gupta.
Sethi said that role being played by BJP activists during the pandemic is phenomenal as they are standing with the people shoulder to shoulder providing them all possible help.
She said, during such testing times, the political class should shun differences and come together to fight back the disease in the best possible manner.
“In contrast to the political parties which have gone missing during the pandemic, BJP has emerged as a strong force to embolden the people in fight against Coronavirus by remaining present at all places where disease-ridden population is seeking help,” the BJP leader maintained adding: “Under ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan Hai’ Abhiyan BJP has established numerous COVID Care Centres across the country to render all sort of help and services to the needy in the hour of crisis.”
She claimed that BJP is unrelentingly providing ration and cooked meals, masks, sanitizer, food packets, oxygen concentrators, assistance in hospitals and ambulance services to the needy.
Sethi appealed to the people that during any emergency they can contact any of the BJP leaders for immediate help as all the necessary things are at disposal of these leaders and they are waiting for the moment to extend help to the needy people.
