JAMMU, May 23: Gangyal Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Raghuvir Singh laid a naka near Purmandal Morh and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number PB35Z-1894.
During checking, police team recovered 40 bottles of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Joginder Kumar, son of Sukhdev Singh of Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 89/2021 under Sections 48(a) and 50 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
