Nipun of Kathua gets PM Research Fellowship

JAMMU, May 23: Nipun Sharma of Kathua, currently pursuing PhD from IIT Jodhpur, has been awarded with prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship .
The Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) Scheme has been designed for improving the quality of research in various higher educational institutions in the country. With attractive fellowships, the scheme seeks to attract the best talent into research thereby realizing the vision of development through innovation. The scheme was announced in the Budget 2018-19 by Government of India.
Nipun Sharma, son of Santosh Kumari and Joginder Paul of Ward number 4, Krishna Colony Kathua, has been awarded the PMRF to carry out high quality research work at the institute.
