JAMMU, May 23: All Morcha incharge of BJP J&K and Senior leader of the party, Munish Sharma along with Vice President BJYM J&K, Shrey Sethi and Pawan Kesar, UT convenor of Child Development Department called on CMO Jammu Dr JP Singh Jamwal at his office chamber here, today.
Munish Sharma inquired about the vaccination drive for 18-44 year age group and got the assurance from the CMO that the inoculation for this age group will achieve full pace in few days. Sharma also discussed the distribution channel for the COVID 19 kits provided by the authorities and COVID isolation wards to be setup at panchayat level in rural areas of Jammu. He further inquired about the performance of call centres established for the counselling of home isolated patients.
Sharma laid stress on the aggressive testing in the district to contain and determine the real situation of COVID-19 in the district and suggested a few additional measures that can be implemented in overall fight against COVID-19.
CMO Jammu, Dr. JP Singh assured Sharma that the discussed issues and suggestions will be implemented as soon as possible.
