BHADERWAH, May 26: Delivery of COVID positive woman was conducted at Sub District Hospital (SDH) here.
Dr Versha Kotwal posted at SDH Bhaderwah conducted the delivery of COVID positive patient.
A lady from Village Thanala of Bhaderwah reported to SDH Bhaderwah with labour pain. Her Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) was done which turned positive.
A decision was taken by Consultant Gynecologist Dr Versha Kotwal to conduct the delivery at SDH Bhaderwah to save the baby and the mother. Both the baby and the mother are safe and healthy.
“The case needed an emergency surgical procedure to save the lives of the woman and the child. Thus, it was a risk which I was willing to take”, Dr Versha Kotwal said, adding that the woman and her child are healthy.
