JAMMU, May 26: ‘THE – SARA’ a registered non-profit organization under its ‘crisis support mission’ to support migrant workers affected by COVID-19 lockdown in J&K carried out ‘COVID-19 Relief Mission 2021’ initiative in Muthi here.
Under the initiative team ‘THE – SARA’ led by its field volunteer, Diksha Chowdhary under the supervision of Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, Director ‘THE – SARA’ today distributed food kits comprising tea, sugar, milk and rusk among 50 families of migrant workers living in Jhuggi cluster at Muthi.
‘THE – SARA’ initiative was supported by Maharaja Kumar Ajatshatru Singh, Kunwarani Ritu Singh and Management of Hotel Hari Niwas Palace Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention ‘THE – SARA’ under ‘COVID-19 Relief Mission 2020’ had supported more than 5000 persons across Jammu district during the first wave of COVID-19.
