UDHAMPUR, May 28: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling wooden sleeper in his house at village Dalsar in Ramnagar.
According to the police report, Som Raj (35), son of Channi Ram of village Dalsar in Ramnagar Tehsil, was found hanging from a ceiling wooden sleeper in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family member saw him hanging and immediately called the Police. The dead body was later shifted to the Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for the postmortem. After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, Police handed over the body to family members.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Ramnagar Police has started inquest proceedings under section 174 IPC for further investigation.
