Annual Jag of Swami Mirzakak celebrated

JAMMU, May 28: The annual Jag of Swami Mirzakak commonly known as Kak Ji Mahraj was celebrated with fervour and gaiety today. However no routine functions were held at the Samadhi of Swami Ji at village Hangalgund, Kokernang in Anantnag district of South Kashmir and at his Nagrota Asthapan Jammu due to Corona curfew.
As per reports some selected devotees visited the Swami Ji’s Samadhi at Hangalgund and paid their obeisance besides performing the religious rituals there. However the devotees of Swami Ji all across Jammu performed the religious rituals and pooja -archana at their residences and prayed for relieving the humanity of the dreaded Pandemic.
Meanwhile, a special programme cum webinar was organised by Radio Sharda in which different scholars and saints threw light on spiritual life of Swami Mirzakak. They said that Swami Ji was a mystic saint of medieval Kashmir who had spelt a doom for tyrant Afghan rulers. He continued the Waakh Parampara of Kashmir throwing light on great spiritual values. The webinar was organised by Ramesh Hangloo, Director Radio Sharda and president Peer Panchal.
