NEW DELHI, June 15: Copper prices strengthened by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today on increased industrial demand.
Traders said increased industrial demand and a reports of a firm global trend mainly strengthen copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap advanced by Rs 2 to Rs 418 per kg.
The following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 107-113, nickel plate (4×4) 1,043-1,046 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 418, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 139, lead imported 137, aluminium ingots 142, sheet cutting 143, aluminium wire scrap 146 and aluminium utensils scrap 142. (PTI)
