JAMMU, May 30: In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission, Udheywala, Jammu, is carrying out its relief works from door to door for under privileged people surrounding the Jammu district those who face difficulty due to lockdown in their day to day life.
In continuation to the COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services, Ramakrishna Udheywala, Jammu supported 250 under privileged and needy poor families in Patrniyal Village, Jammu today. The families received ration kit consisting of 5 kg each Basmati Rice and Atta, 1 kg each Tur Dal, Chana Dal, Rajmas and Salt, 1 ltr Cooking Oil, 500 gms each Haldi and Chilli Powder, 5 kg each Potato and Onion and Bathing and Detergent Soaps.
Swami Nirantarananda ji Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu said “The Mission has campaigned for the awareness for safety from Coronavirus infection, as have been instructed by the Health Ministry and J&K UT Administration time to time.”. He also added that the local people and children were distributed COVID safety kits. The Mission will continue the service.”
Local people and volunteers are helping actively in the ongoing COVID relief operation.
