Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, May 31: An online farewell meeting for Prof (Dr) M Y Peerzada, Director Colleges, Department of Higher Education Department J&K, who attained superannuation today, was organized. The farewell meeting was attended by more than 70 Principals from different Government colleges of Jammu Division. The speakers gave a brief account of the more than 35 years of glorious services rendered by Prof Peerzada. All the participants wished him a happy and healthy post superannuation life.
Jagdish Singh Bali, who retired today as AEE from PDD Department, was given a warm farewell by Executive Engineer, TLMD-III Udhampur, JKPTCI, Power Development Department (PDD). During his service of 31 years, Bali served at various places including NHPC Limited, Uri project and JKPDC Grid stations of Janipur, Canal and Pounichak. All his colleagues wished him a happy and prosperous retired life.
A warm farewell was accorded to Naib-Tehsildar, Chanderkot, Saifullah Shah, who retired today after attaining superannuation. He served the Revenue Department for more than 35 years. In a function organized at his office at Chanderkot, all his colleagues and prominent citizens wished him peaceful and prosperous post retirement life.
Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Surishta Devi, Agriculture Chemist Jammu, Rajeev Sharma, Incharge Divisional Soil Survey Officer and Charan Kour, Incharge Head Assistant, JD (Farms) who retired today after rendering more than 36 years of service to the Department. Director of Agriculture Production & FW Jammu, K K Sharma, speaking on the occasion, wished the retirees a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to retiring officers and staff of the department from other districts. They included S N Uppal (SMS III Dharmari), Abdul Gaffor Khan (Senior Mechanic, ARE Jammu), Nazir Ahmad (Field Assistant Reasi), Ajudhia Lal (Field Assistant SM Farm Chinore), Padam Singh (Field Assistant II Udhampur), Romesh Chander (Senior Assistant Akhnoor), Kamal Kishore (AEA Poonch), Davinder Singh (JAEO Akhnoor), Karan Singh (Mali SMF Chakrohi) and Jamat Ali (JAEO Doda). Meanwhile in another function held at the office of Sub Divisional Officer, R S Pura, Reej Kumar Sharma (JAEO R S Pura) and Pritam Chand (Head Assistant R S Pura) were accorded warm send off on their retirement from service today.
Sushil Kumar Amla, DDO Migrant Cell, SKUAST-K, who retired today from the service, was accorded a warm send off by staff members in a farewell function. They lauded his sincere and dedicated services towards migrant employees and wished him happy and healthy post retirement life.
Directorate of Horticulture Jammu today bid farewell to Ram Parshad (Section Officer) and J K Pandita (AAO) on attaining superannuation. On the Occasion, Director Horticulture, Sevak Ram wished both the retirees a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life. The staff of the Directorate also extended their best wishes to the retiring officials.
An impressive and small function was organized in the premises of ZEO Office Vijaypur to give farewell to retiring employee of ZEO office Ashok Singh (Peon) and Jaswant Singh (Teacher), who served the education department for about three to four decades. Ashiwini Kumar, Principal holding the additional charge of ZEO Vijaypur was also present during the function. He presented gifts to both the retiring employees and wished them good health and prosperous life post retirement.
A farewell function was organized today to bid adieu to Kewal Krishan Nanda, Senior Teacher (Zone Arnas) District Reasi, who retired today on attaining superannuation. He served in the School Education Department for nearly 40 years. His colleagues and the people of Arnas wished him a happy and healthy life after retirement.
