CD organises First Responder Course

SRINAGAR, June 15: High altitude Civil Defence town Leh under the leadership of Civil Defence Deputy Controller and Area Commander, HG Masroor Ahmad Mir, organized a one day medical emergency First Responder Course for warden and the volunteers of the Civil Defence town Leh.
Professional Mountaineers of the International Mountain Leadership Institute (IMLI), USA including the Director IMLI Jeremy Higle (master educator), Grant Campbell (emergency medical technician), Nitish Sharma (instructor trainee, child line, India) delivered lectures and demonstrations to the participants. The programme was attended by Chief Warden Tsering Phunchok, sector wardens Nawang Rigzin, Tashi Tundup and large number of volunteers from the town.
