Employees submit demands to Director Sheep Husbandry

JAMMU, June 2: A deputation of All J&K Sheep & Wool Workers Association, Jammu, met Director Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu, Krishan Lal and submitted a charter of demands.
The Association demanded Hard Duty Allowance to the employees working 24 hours in Government farms and migratory project, implementation of SRO-903 of 2019, removal of pay anomalies of flock Inspector and Assistant Livestock Officer on the pattern of Section Officer, promotion of Fieldmen and Assistant Stockmen as per promotion quota, provision for promotion of Assistant Livestock officer to Gazetted Cadre in each block, implementation of GAD circular number 10(JKGAD) of 2021 in favour of employees of Sheep Husbandry Department.
The Association also demanded deputation of ASM for undergoing Stock Assistant Training Course from all districts of Jammu province in equal number, framing of transfer policy, filling up of all vacant posts of ALO by giving one time relaxation in existing Recruitment Rules and lowering 5-year qualifying service to three years.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured redressal of the same on priority.
The deputation, led by the Association president Rafiq Malik, comprised of Dr Ram Lal, Sunil Sharma, Lakhwinder Singh, Vinod Kumar, Chitter Lekha, Dewan Raj, Dheeraj Sharma, Manan Malik, Abdul Latief, Om Parkash, Anil, Dara Singh, S Surinder, Parveen Kumar, Mohd Iqbal and others.
