JMC Councillor starts road blacktopping work

JAMMU, Jun 4: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Pritam Singh today started road blacktopping work at Hari Bihar Colony in Ward 55.
A handout stated that the work may incur an expenditure of Rs. 10 lakh and was inaugurated by Pritam Singh in the presence of Jankar Singh, Balbir Singh, Vicky Chib, Pupinder Chib, Parshotam Khajuria, R.S Sodi, Anil Choudhary, Malkit Choudhary and other prominent citizens of Ward 55. The work is being executed by Public Works Department.
After starting the blacktopping work the Councillor along with AEE and JE visited Ward 55 and its surrounding localities where the locals demanded construction/renovation of pending lanes and drains, blacktopping of the main roads as well as interior lanes etc.
The Councillor assured that all the genuine demands will be redressed in time-bound manner.
